When required or desired, Telamco, Inc. can backlight your membrane switch with woven or EL (electro-luminescent) lighting.   Backlighting can add a dramatic as well as functional effect to your membrane switch.

Telamco will provide the value added features of metal back panels, and injected molded bezels for your final assembly. Surface finishes for back panels are designed to meet your finished part requirements. Switch assemblies can be mounted directly on your custom injected molded bezel with Telamco assuring proper switch function after assembly.

The HeatSealed composite switch will protect your key contacts from harsh conditions in the field.

Telamco provides switch connectors to meet your requirements. Our primary connection interface uses the Crimpflex® connecting system by Nicomatic.   Crimpflex connectors conform to Berg, Molex and Amp, membrane switch connecting specifications by utilizing common pins in a specific housing to meet our customer's connection requirements.
  Embossing

The appearance and sensory impact of your membrane switch can be improved using tactile graphic domes, pillow embossed keys, or a cosmetic rim emboss.

  Flexible Printed Circuits

Incorporating Telamco’s HeatSeal® technology with high quality flex circuits to combine electronics into a flexible circuit assembly gives you design options when space and reliability are needed.
  Graphic Overlays

Telamco utilizes the techniques necessary to produce membrane switch graphics that are aesthetically pleasing and operationally functional. Graphic technologies include screen printed and digitally imaged polyester substrates to meet your cosmetic requirements.

 
  Embedded LEDs

Telamco can embed surface mounted LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) into your membrane switch assembly for high impact visual indicators.

  Optical Registration

Telamco uses precision optical registration for accurate alignment of all membrane switch layers.

  Tactile Response
Stainless Steel domes, embossed polyester domes or tactile embossed graphics can be used to provide the contact snap your design requires. Tactile domes are manufactured to exceed 1 million actuations. The tactile response is designed to meet your contact closure force requirements.
